Being healthy and active

Here are Sara's top tips on working out:

1. Do what you love –Being healthy and active doesn’t mean you have to slog away in the gym hours after hours’ day in and day out!! Its about moving and fueling the body with good whole foods. When I’m not at the gym, I love going outside soaking up the sun through a walk around the neighborhood, heading to the oval across the road to throw a ball around and do cartwheels and handstands. Find something that you love which allows you to move.

2. Change it up – add variation to each session you do. Constantly changing your training will keep it fun and enjoyable as well as keep the body guessing on what it's about to do.

3. Listen to your body – This is one is probably the best tip, listening to your body is key. We have one body, so we've got to get the most out of it. Our body is an amazing thing, however sometimes it needs time out. When it comes to training and you feel like going hard, go hard. If you don’t, then don’t. If you’re not in the mood to push yourself do something completely different. It’s all about what your body needs.
