Former Australian X-Factor star CXLOE releases new single
Chloe Papandrea first appeared on our screens as a contestant in 2014 on Australia's X-Factor. Papandrea, mentored by Ronan Keating made it to the top six of the under 25's girls category where she was eliminated in the home visits stage.
Three years on, Papandrea has reformed her brand with an artist change. The Northern beaches now goes by the name of 'CXLOE', and has released the single 'Tough Love'.
The song was released two weeks ago and has already seen airplay on Triple J, 2Day FM and been advertised on Triple J Unearthed, which is huge! The single is a real standout pop single that we have not heard from an Aussie artist this year. 'Tough Love' is an infusion of a dark tone, yet edgy pop. The whole song has been produced well from the lyrics to the beat. The pre-chorus and chorus are the huge standouts of CXLOE's single, taking influences from the likes of Broods, Banks, and Tove Lo. CXLOE's vocals in the chorus are powerful and the emotions are felt which helps uplift the song to a higher level.
