What is trending this Spring/Summer?
This is your monthly Trend Report by Trendella DeVille - so what's trending this Spring/Summer?
Since my last monthly trend report (I am using the term “monthly” veeerrrryyyyy loosely, sorry to my diehard fans, I know you’ve been holding your breath for it, this monthly trend report with be more of a bi-monthly feature) not a hell of a lot has changed.
My last report included:
White Sneakers
Metallic Pleated Skirts
The Bandana Neck-Tie
Pom Pom’s on a Little Bag
Wire Earrings
The biggest trend I am seeing now is still the humble bandana necktie! It has popped up on the streets of Sydney, at fast fashion retail chains and tightly tied around my neck. That’s right, for those of you who didn’t read my last article, I have purchased a red bandana from Supre. Yes, Supre. If you’re after a cheap copy cat of a popular product, they are your one stop shop!
Everyone’s been feeling the heat, so this colourful baby is the perfect accessory to spice up any ol’ outfit.
Also trending:
My favourite comfortable edition to an outfit is a colourful mid height mule, just make sure you’ve done your nails girls!
I have also noticed light, calf to full length black or white skirts float onto my social media pages. See Sara Donaldson, also known as Harper and Harley rocking this airy mid summer’s night dream.
This season is all about colour. We’ve had our fun with monochrome, a trend that will never truly go away, but the fash pack is making a little room for pops of colour to come through this year. I have my eyes on this teeny weeny yellow (not polkadot) bikini from a REALLY cheap online store called Zaful.
I’m going to have to put down the cookies and pick up the dumbbell to look good in this, WHY MUST SUMMER SURPRISE ME EVERY YEAR. Thanks to yesterday's 32 degrees, its finally here!
