Splendour is just around the corner, and you should definitely be finalising your schedule. The buzz is certainly making for what is going to be one of the best, in the festival’s existence. But if you still not quite sure as to which acts you should check out - don't stress! Quite Frankly has you covered with the top non-headlining acts to check out.

Here are seven non-headlining artists that you can't miss:

SNAKEHIPS Saturday – 5:30 – Mix Up Stage

The UK production duo have had a huge year, with “All My Friends” being one of the biggest songs in Australia, becoming a triple platinum seller - with over 210,000 copies. Their latest song ‘Cruel’, featuring Zayn is also bound to become a huge success. The duo will be having everyone dancing and is fast becoming one of the biggest acts around the world. You won’t want to miss their set!

HAYDEN JAMES

Friday – 5:30 – Mix Up Stage

Hayden James is a singer, songwriter and producer from Sydney. James has the all round package and is blowing up the local electronica scene with his live performances consisting of unearthly beats and unique visuals. If you are in the mood to dance, his set is not one to be missed.

KACY HILL Friday – 2:45 – Mix Up Stage

Hill is an American singer-songwriter, who is currently signed to Kanye West’s label GOOD Music. Hill was a backup dancer on the Yeezus Tour for West and has released some awesome music as of late. Her standout single ‘Lion’ was recently released and has a very unique sound which is sure to go off !

GANGS OF YOUTHS Saturday – 4:30 – Ampitheatre

Gangs of Youths are an Australian indie rock group performing one of their biggest shows of their career at Splendour. Their debut album, ‘The Positions’, peaked at No. 5 on the ARIA Albums Chart in May 2015 and was nominated for multiple ARIA Awards. Their hit song ‘Strange Diseases’ will be the song to watch by the band.

LDRU Saturday – 9:30 – Tiny Dancer Stage

LDRU is a producer from Sydney who has hit big with his single ‘Keeping Score’. The track has been going well, gaining a lot of attention on the radio. Also, the Tiny Dancer stage will be fun to check out and LDRU’s set will not disappoint. His single will be one of those songs that gets the crowd hyped Saturday night.

JESS KENT

Sunday – 12:15 – Mix Up Stage

Sydney-based Jess Kent, born in England to Blues guitarist father, and a mother of African-Indian descent is one of Australia’s up and coming artists. Despite being fairly new to the scene, Kent owns the stage when she performs and is a natural. Her single ‘Get Down’ is a jam that gets everyone jumping. The track is about growing up as a teenager in the suburbs of Adelaide.

NGAIIRE Saturday – 12:15 – Mix Up Stage

She’s a Papua New Guinea-born singer based in Sydney and has been recognised as one of the best Australian live performers of 2015 by the AU Review. Her latest album ‘Blastoma’ has been praised as one of the breakout albums of urban music in 2016 and is set to create a powerful live set, especially with her single ‘Diggin’.
