‘Good Grief' - The new single from Bastille is here
English indie rock band Bastille have released their new single and music video titled ‘Good Grief’. It is our first taste of new music from the band in two years since their top ten platinum selling singles ‘Pompeii’ and ‘Of the Night’, as well as their top ten album ‘Bad Blood’ was released. The new song brings their usual balance between pop and indie-rock, with a very infectious chorus. The melody throughout the song creates a festival feel delivering a different track to what is heard on the radio today.
The band’s music video was also released yesterday. The whole music video is interesting to say the least. The video is very odd and different with a whole lot of shots used throughout. I don’t know what is happening throughout the video, but at least the song is good. One of the weirdest videos of 2016.
The song hasn’t been impacting the charts in Australia as of yet. But, the song has just been sent to radio today, so I expect the song to at least reach a position of top 50 on the charts. Once the song gains momentum on the radio, I expect to see the band chart in the top 20.
