David Guetta and Zara Larsson: official theme song for 2016 UEFA Football Championship
French superstar DJ David Guetta, and breakthrough Swedish pop artist Zara Larsson have collaborated to bring us the official theme song for the 2016 UEFA Football Championship in France, which is currently in progress.
“This One’s For You” is a fun pop track that showcases Larsson’s pop vocals in the verses with her strong, high tone. Her voice carry's perfectly over Guetta’s typical synth and percussion beat to create a euphoric feel to the song. Despite the song not being overwhelmingly outstanding for the pair, it still lives up to create an anthemic and a team-sense feel perfect for Europe’s biggest football event. The breakdown in the middle of the tune with the roaring crowd and Larsson’s ad-libs to build up for the final chorus further uplifts the song. A European summer hit for sure!
